The Australian War Memorial hosts the Dawn Service in close cooperation with the Returned and Services League of Australia ACT. Every year, thousands of people join together to pay tribute to and remember those who have served.

The Anzac Day Dawn Service and National Ceremony are well attended commemorative ceremonies where parking and road closures in and around the Australian War Memorial is restricted on the day.


Catching a bus to The Australian War Memorial provides you with peace of mind knowing that your travel to the Dawn Service is arranged.
You will not have to worry about the road closures, parking tickets or finding a carpark.

We will be departing from the Capital Country Holiday Park in Sutton at 3:30am. We will then be leaving The Australian War Memorial at approx 6:00am to head back.

FAQs

Do do I need to register for this Service?
Yes, we do require people to register. This allows us to confirm numbers with the bus provider to make sure we have a seat for everyone.

I’m not staying at Capital Country Holiday Park, can I still use the bus service?
Yes, Capital Country Holiday Park have been very nice in allowing people to leave their cars in the parking area for a few hours if required.

What does the fee cover?
The cost of your ticket includes travel for 1 person from the Capital Country Holiday Park in Sutton to The Australian War Memorial and back.

What if I want to stay at The Australian War Memorial after the Dawn Service?
That is ok, you can stay at The Australian War Memorial or continue on else where. You do need to let LiVents know you will not be on the return bus.The cost of your ticket will remain the same and you will have to organise your own way back to Capital Country Holiday Park.

Terms & Conditions
If you purchase a veteran ticket you will need to produce a DVA card when boarding the bus. Only 1 veteran ticket per DVA card is allowed.
